Only the outside is colorful. But very pretty.
I sewed two together so the inside and outside would be same bright colors. The outside is colorful but the inside does not have any color on it. I was satisfied with my end product. But I did have to purchase 2. But if you're ok with the lack of color on the underside you are good. It comes with a mask and antennae.

- The butterfly shawl is too costume-like and is not suitable for formal occasions
