I love these vests! I would like to give 10 stars. The first order I got I ordered a large, the girth was a 20 and the length was said to be a 14, but when I received them they were a little loose on my poodle who is exactly 14 inches long. And a bit loose and I also used one for my chihuahua which is 17 inches in circumference and I was afraid to order a medium one because it would be too tight. Well the big one was too loose and too long when I actually measured the material from neck to butt it was 16 inches. So I gave it to my neighbor and figured I'd take the middle one because it covers up to 17 in circumference. but it stretches and was only 12 inches long. Then I ordered a medium and it arrived today. I got another set for my neighbor who has a small Weston Terrier that is about 21" in circumference and 16" long exactly, they fit perfectly, she loved them. Then I asked her to order a medium size. said 12 and it was perfect so i think you just need to add a few inches to the size you will get. I can't say enough about the quality of these vests how they fit especially that they are stretchy my dogs are older than me and I love to stretch for myself so I can breathe so it was perfect perfect, perfect! I received the red in blue and I am hoping that they will come in other colors soon because I plan to order many of these and tell my friends about them. I live in South Carolina and they are perfect for the temperature here. I say buy while you can and it's like a $20 deal for two vests.
