I’m a little caught off guard at how large the rechargeable batteries are for these, I’ve never had heated socks before so I didn’t realize. The batteries are thick and large especially in relationship to sock material. The heating elements are all in the toe area with the idea that warm toes will make warm feet and I guess I can see that actually. The color is nice, the socks are very compressing and thick and I like the color. I’m just not sure how comfortable it’ll be carrying those batteries strapped to my calf. The remote is a nice touch though, I can how nice it’ll be to adjust the heat without having to mess around with the actual socks. They are also pretty $$ for socks, I’m hoping once it snows I’ll feel like a) they are comfortable enough to actually wear and b) are a good value.
