Love/Hate Relationships

I love these things at first. In the first month of use, this soft, pencil-shaped angel came down from a great height and wrapped its little silicone angel wings around my Apple Pencil. It's really a game changer, because the Apple Pencil is au-naturel terribly uncomfortable to hold in your hand - it's too thin, slippery and just feels cheap. Then I start hating her. They start to loosen up after about the first month, enough for you to notice. From the second month, you'll need to readjust the flat head every few uses - uncomfortable but tolerable. By the end of the third month, the silicone is so loose that the flat part doesn't want to stay on the flat part at all, so it takes 5 minutes to charge the pencil to get it right. If you manage to screw it up like I did and not line it up correctly, you'll end up with a precariously held Apple Pencil that falls when you get in the car and accidentally gets caught under the front wheel. .I bought two packs in 6 months, all 4 sleeves were loose to the point of being unusable. There is a height reduction technique including boiling water and an ice bath that I have tried several times but to no avail. If you think it's better to love and lose than never to love, then this case is for you. Buy it and enjoy the roller coaster ride of love. If you prefer to stay in a blissful haze of ignorance and not knowing how good it can be, leave this page. Leave this page and never come back.
