I was a little skeptical about installing them in wood panels without bolts but I used my own anchors and they worked great. I bought it for a 9'6" who probably weighs around 35 pounds. The first night I was kind of sketchy and wondered if my longboard was going to blow my mind/kill me while I was on the couch underneath, but a few weeks later it's still holding up even got a few compliments on it not 5/5 because i had to use my own strong anchors which i trust more than what came in this set.
