My first impression was that this product seemed cheap. It is very light and looks empty. The color match isn't very good either, although I bought the correct color for my MacBook. I find the size is right and fits comfortably (for reference I have a 16" MacBook Pro 2019). However, I do have a few issues with the functionality of this adapter hub. First, and admittedly this is a minor issue, is It's sometimes difficult to tell if a hub is fully plugged in without hearing a satisfying "click" when plugged in. A much more pressing issue with this hub is that the ports themselves are very difficult to use, particularly the USB-A -Connectors.The USB-A connectors seem to be glued crookedly or something because it's very difficult to get the USB right in. Every time I try to use the USB-A connectors I worry about that I could damage my flash drive or mouse receiver because it's difficult to connect them to a hub One of the USB-A ports doesn't support connecting my drive to my laptop, the light on the drive goes a n and off so I have to physically set it up to keep it connected. I no longer use this port for fear of damaging my drive. I had a similar problem but to a lesser extent when using an SD card reader. I'm also very uncomfortable that the USB-A ports aren't deep enough to only half-insert an entire drive, which only adds to my fear of damaging my USB-A devices. I have the same issue with the SD card port where the SD card barely enters the hub. Both USB-C pass-through ports connect seamlessly and are deep enough to fully connect to them. I haven't used the HDMI or Micro SD ports yet, so I can't comment on their functionality. Overall I'm very disappointed with the quality of this hub adapter, especially for the price. I haven't even used all the ports, but out of the 5 I've used, one only works half the time and 3 of them are exceptionally difficult to use. I plan to return or refund this hub adapter and buy another one.
