Review on 🗺️ Enhanced Lowrance 112-362 iWay 500C Portable GPS Navigator with Built-in MP3 Player by Jeff Figueroa

I love my iWay 500 (this is my first GPS, only got it 2 days ago). The interface is easy to use - you can figure it out after using the system for less than a day. I like the music function (although the sound quality isn't great). I want to be able to import playlists from my Real Player. I'm surprised the POI database is so bad, why can't it be as accurate as Google Earth or Yahoo Local? I wish they would update this - I was trying to find restaurants, gas stations, etc. in Palo Alto, CA but got listings that were in Fremont/Hayward (>10 miles away). I have the latest software version 1.3.0 so I don't think an update will help. 08/30/05 I wrote a review earlier (a few days ago) commenting on the fact that the POI database is not very good. Just downloaded their latest software (1.4). Now the POI database is perfect! I am very, very impressed with the speed of software changes these guys are making! At this rate these guys will be very difficult to catch!
