This is a fantastic blanket. I bought this for my son who is going through a "rocket" phase and he was so happy when he saw it for the first time. A few things to know: - It is very SOFT. No problem. The bottom is like a fleece material so you can't put it in the dryer on high heat or it will fall off. Our son had RSV and then we had COVID-19 so we washed everything we could in HOT water and put everything in a HOT dryer but I really couldn't wash it that way without messing up , so I opted for warm water instead . - It's a warm blanket. This is not a summer blanket. It is ideal for winter or for sleeping (thick, comfortable and soft). I would love to sleep on it myself, but on a hot night it would be too much under my son. We've washed it 4-5 times and it's holding up great. No problems washing in the usual cold or warm wash cycle.
