I bought this to use on a trip to Europe and it was a wise choice. The bag is big enough to store a lot, with 3 main pockets (2 zipped and one zipped) and 2 smaller inner pockets (one zipped and one open). However, it's still small enough to be easily and comfortably carried around towns and cities and on public transport without feeling stuck with a giant bag or backpack. The straps are very secure and you can even "lock" the zippers together or with a belt loop for added pickpocketing protection. I bought brown and the color online matched the actual product.
