They had to make the cord longer and hang a control box on the cord so you could turn it on and off without moving. Whoever designed this did a terrible job. The massage function is great when you can position it for each part of the neck or back that may be tight, but it is so tedious to position it and get a decent massage without stretching moving or turning it off ruins the whole experience and renders it completely ineffective. This is the worst massage pillow I have ever had.
