I embroider a lot and cutting fabric has become excruciating for me due to arthritis in my shoulders and arms. I was desperate for a disc cutter that didn't require me to lean so hard. Although I had to get used to holding this cutter differently, it wasn't difficult and the company provided a great instructional video. Watch the video (available on YouTube) for helpful tips. I got my husband to keep an eye on this as well so he can properly clean the cutter and blade when needed. This cutter is much easier to use than others I've bought (Fiskars and Olga). I am very happy with this purchase!
