Works but soaks up the sauce!
Fits my 18 month old baby, there is space (she is tiny) and tried to give her pasta with sauce and some sauce spilled on him. I immediately wiped it off while she wore it and then hand washed it with a sponge. the sauce has soaked into the fabric. I haven't tried the washing machine yet. It's waterproof, which is nice.
