It was easy to set up, you just open the zipped storage bag and it literally pops out of you. I had to watch a video online to see how to fold it to put it back in my bag, but it's easy once you know how. I've used it to photograph a number of items for an online auction site and it has enabled me to create some really beautiful photos. I still used Photoshop a little, but not very much. I only used the white background that comes with the kit, I didn't use any colors at all and probably won't either. White is a little dirty, need to wash it soon. They need decent lights on the sides, my lights aren't as bright as they should be but it still worked great.
