I bought this to replace the chunkier light fixture I keep on my desk where I do my nails and manicures. This is an amazing light. It's smooth and beautiful and offers a lot of light. The touch toggle on and off is really nice and works great (very nice that I don't have to press a button or toggle when I'm doing a manicure). I love that you can change the color of the light from blue white to warm yellow. (and some shades in between). You can also change the brightness of the light or put it in sensor mode so that it automatically adjusts to the ambient light. The neck of the lantern bends slightly to adjust, but stays in place well after adjustment. The base is nice and heavy so the light won't fall off when you use it. This is an amazing table lamp, honestly it's the most beautiful table lamp I've ever owned. It's definitely worth the price and I really like it. I wish I had bought something like this a few years ago. I love how little space it takes up, how much light it puts out and how smoothly it runs. Highly recommended!
