UPDATED TO SAY: The company is sending a more powerful PSU. They apologized and said the wrong power supply came in my kit. I'll wait and see if the more powerful PSU works or if the headlights light up with the melted one. I will update this review once I get the power supply and can test everything. I appreciate your efforts to remedy this situation. Original: I used to love these lights. Installation was pretty easy, although the velcro didn't work. These lamps should last about 10 years. Well, I wouldn't mind if the lights went out before 10 years were up, but I don't want to risk my house going up in flames. Today the light just went out. All of them. So I checked all the connections again and finally checked whether the connector was plugged in correctly. I almost burned my hand on the power supply. It was hot. The case began to melt at one point. I had to wear oven mitts to turn off the power without burning myself. So I started checking if these power supplies were bad. The company offers replacement power supplies. Your OWN description of the power supplies states that the one I have and the one that came with it will NOT fit. It says that the "1 amp" power supply is designed for 6 "21 LED" panels. This kit had 10 strips and I used 9. Your description says you need a 1.5 amp power supply to run up to 9 "21" LED panels. Yes, even 1.5 amps are only rated for 9 panels. make sure it doesn't get too hot. Here is a link to replacing the power supplies from the manufacturer. Look at the picture that explains which connector (amplifier) should fit the number of panels you have.
