There was a slow, annoying refrigerant leak in the car's air conditioning that even UV dye couldn't detect. It turned out to be the Schrader valve on the high pressure side. A wave in the valve area and the detector went full scale. It was a leak that typically took a month or so to resolve to the point where cooling efficiency was noticeably reduced. $5 fix. YES SIR. The only problem with the product is that once you turn it on, it emits loud and regular beeps (about once a second) letting you know it's on. Very annoying when you spend 10-15 minutes looking for a leak. About 1/5 volume is more than enough to remind you it's on. Very, very annoying. Enough to deduct a star from an otherwise excellent product.
