I bought this for my 11 yr old son to use for 1st year Boy Scout camping. It was delivered today and we couldn't wait to try it out before the trip. Momma bear reluctantly stood back and let him read the instructions to put up on his own. The instructions are sewn into the fabric as well as the bag that it comes in. It can be put up by one person. He was able to do it and he is not very experienced. The bands wrap around tree trunks and are sturdy. There are caribiners attached to the hammock and they clip to the wraps. The hammock is lightweight. The mosquito net dettaches by zipper, but I doubt we will take it off. A little more practice with his slip knot (not the band) and he will be good to go in the wild state park. Also, I believe there is a lifetime warranty.
