I love this frameset! I have used a standard wing nut/wooden frame for over 15 years. And was frustrated with the ripped holes holding the bolts in place, as well as the Aida fabric slipping off because it wasn't securely attached to the split section of the frame's wooden roller. When I first used this frame I was amazed to feel the density of the fabric in the frame. And after using the frame for a day or two, I realized that I had framed the Aida fabric in a portrait orientation when I needed it in a landscape orientation. I was amazed at how easy it was to replace the frame. By using smaller expanders with multiple holes I was able to make my project work much easier. Square wing nuts are much easier to use and won't hurt your hands like metal nuts. I'm never scared they strip because of the quality. All edges are smooth, which makes the whole set convenient to use.
