They are so well made and beautiful!

I really like this set. I appreciate square wooden wing nuts. They are easy to twist and the threads do not get stuck like metal threads. I also have an Elbesee roll frame and the tiny metal wing nuts hurt my hands. They also have a great price! You can make many configurations. To get the best side tension you will need tension clips or side stitch the fabric. I didn't feel the need, but larger projects would benefit from it.

The best frame I've ever used.

I love this frameset! I have used a standard wing nut/wooden frame for over 15 years. And was frustrated with the ripped holes holding the bolts in place, as well as the Aida fabric slipping off because it wasn't securely attached to the split section of the frame's wooden roller. When I first used this frame I was amazed to feel the density of the fabric in the frame. And after using the frame for a day or two, I realized that I had framed the Aida fabric in a portrait orientation when I…

So impressed! - Frame

After purchasing another poor quality frame from another seller I was a little shy but read the reviews, went through the FAQ and clicked buy now. I'm so impressed! Easy to use, high quality (smooth, strong, light), holds a large needlepoint mesh that I've been arguing about for months. I rarely take the time to write reviews and always wait some time to make sure I've used the product enough to support or criticize it, so I hope people find it helpful. I'm buying a large set because I wanted…

Easy to use clips also with RA

I've tried all kinds of frames, from subframes and spiral frames, from split guides, to sewing strips of twill tape onto the poles, to velcro (which is great, but expensive to buy velcro). These work great. I've had several different projects and found it easy to assemble, easy to center the project, and clamps easy to install and remove - place the clamps in line with the rod to ensure the center clamp is centered to allow room for leaving the clamps on both sides. (Place the middle clip and…

The best tool for embroidery

I have been doing cross stitching for 30 years, since I was a teenager I learned it from my mother. As I learned from my mother, I also learned her tricks of holding a picture while working on it. Sometimes she would use one of those old school hoops and fold and pin the extra image so it didn't get in the way. So here's how I've been handling mine since I found out. But I've always hated it, I hated the lines the tire left, I hated having to constantly adjust, I hated the fact that the tire…
