We don’t use our fireplace and I wanted some candles to add a sense of warmth and ambiance for when we have parties. This did the trick. Just make sure you have the batteries on hand. These candles look really nice and the remote works well, I am glad there is a remote so I don’t have to open the fireplace doors and turn on every candle individually. It also comes with an extra remote. The remote allows you to make the candles look like they are flickering (more realistic) or have a steady glow. Note that you have to press the on or off button more than once on the remote to get all of the candles to turn on or off, seems to depend on how far away you are, but not a big deal.
