What I initially wrote is below. Scroll down past that to where I'm using angry capital letters and you can see why this went from a raving 5-star review to a 1-star review warning that it's made of incredibly cheap plastic and despite it not moving except to empty the tank maybe 3 times for cleaning, it still managed to break. DON'T BUY THIS!I really like the 500ml diffuser tank. It makes it so you don't have to refill your tank after each use and you can pick between strong and weak mode. It's also super cool how you can operate it using your smartphone and especially how you set schedules/timers for both the light and mist controls. Also, if i'm on the way home after a long, stressful day, I can get on my phone (while I'm stopped of course) and get my room smelling great by the time I get home. I've had no problems at all with this beast of a diffuser. Would be great for an office area or something like that also. You'd probably want to run it on strong mode, but i believe it could lightly scent a large office space. I use mine in my bedroom on weak mode from 930pm-430am (i'm a late-nighter). I schedule it for the light to go off at 2am and the mist to go off at 430am. It automatically turns on at 930 so just make sure it's filled with water and oils or it won't run (obviously). I got mine for $50 and i would've paid that for the large tank alone, but it's also "smart" and a has a nice look to it.********THE ABOVE REVIEW HAS NOW CHANGED AFTER HAVING IT FOR 4 MONTHS! THIS ITEM IS VERY CHEAPLY MADE. THE ENTIRE BOTTOM WITH THE CIRCUIT BOARD AND CONNECTIONS COMPLETELY DETACHED FROM THE TANK. 3 ENTIRELY SEPARATE PIECES HAVE SNAPPED OFF I'VE LEARNED SINCE LOOKING INTO IT. IT STOPPED PUMPING OUT AS MUCH MIST AND THEY WHEN I WAS CLEANING OUT THE TANK (GENTLY) THE BOTTOM CAME OFF AND I CAUGHT IT BEFORE IT HIT THE FLOOR AND THE MECHANISM HOLDING THE BLOWER/FAN HAD BROKEN OFF SO IT WAS JUST LOOSE IN THERE, WHICH. (I'll switch out of caps since I've got your attention now) explains the weak mist coming out of it even on the highest settings. I put it back in place with adhesive and it worked again. there was another plastic piece that had broken off that was supposed to hold the tank to the base and ANOTHER piece broken off the put the circuit board in place. Keep in mind that I was INCREDIBLY careful with this diffuser and treated it like a prized possession. It had never been dropped or hit or subject to any other abuse. I don't see how these screws and pieces fell out of place when it hadn't been moved except to dump the tank. It says "Risk Free" but it's impossible to find the manufacturers website, let alone return it. It gave me only 2 months to return it. I guess they figured out that that's about the time it takes for it to completely break apart. I mean i only dumped the tank on a handful of occasions, so this thing barely moved at all and just sat on my bookshelf. The buttons became stuck and the place for the power cord to plug into the machine at the bottom came completely unglued so you have to take the entire thing apart to push the piece in just so it can plug in and then you have to readjust the fan since, as i mentioned before, has broken pieces too and then i can get it to blow the smallest amount of mist out. I was so excited about this when i puchased it and babied the thing and it still managed to break. I used the "Smart" features of it for about a month and had i ton a schedule, but after a month, no matter what I did, it wouldn't connect to my smart phone or any other devices despite trying anything i could find in the manual or online.AVOID THE HEADACHE OF BUYING THIS! IT IS NOT AT ALL "RISK FREE." YOU GET ABOUT 3 MONTHS OR SO OF A RETURN WINDOW AND THEN IT BREAKS RIGHT AFTER. THIS PRODUCT IS A JOKE. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY PEOPLE! BUY A BRAND WITH SOME REPUTATION. THE APP THAT YOU USE TO CONTROL IT ISN'T EVEN MADE BY THE SAME COMPANY! BUY A DIFFERENT DIFFUSER OR YOU WILL BE STUCK WRITING A REVIEW LIKE MINE WHERE YOU FIRST GAVE IT OUTSTANDING REVIEWS, JUST TO HAVE IT BREAK A FEW MONTHS LATER AND THERE'S NO WAY TO RETURN IT TO THE COMPANY!
