A feature of this camera is that you cannot tell if there is a camera inside. You just can't see the lens. On top of that, it's a terrible product thwarted by a truly terrible smartphone app. As I write this review, the camera is on my bedside table, capturing consecutive 2-minute videos of nothing. Even with motion detection set to its lowest level, it records without a trigger. Ironically, you can walk right in front of the camera and it won't record. The instructions say that the video will be saved to the phone even if the SD card is inserted, but this is not the case. The app doesn't even save the most recent videos. When you click on an event in the app's events list, you get a frame instead of a video. There is no way to select an event and save it to your phone. The app doesn't like to accept changes to the time either. I've changed it several times from the default 2 minutes to 1 minute and it just does what it wants. Whoever developed this app should check out the Eufy Security app and start over. Night vision is just ok. The effect is like looking into a dark room with a flashlight. The blue LED indicator is so bright that it can disturb your sleep and cannot be reduced. I wish I could say something positive about this product, but I can't. i will return it
