Review on ๐Ÿ”ง Improved Small Block Ford Intake Stud Kit - ARP 354-2103 by Ben Dixon

DO NOT BUY HORRIBLE/WRONG PRODUCT ESPECIALLY for ARP!

The pictures you see of other people where only ONE bolt has a sewn hex wrench are CORRECT. It's terrible kit, especially for ARP, and even worse for the price. The stainless steel cleats you find elsewhere are sewn, as opposed to all but ONE cleat for each of these kits. If they flashed ALL the studs and added a loop of safety wire that they attached to ONE stud from the kit then it would be an amazing kit and well worth it. The price alone would mean ALL the screws were at least flashed, but NO. Useless! The stainless steel rivets are sewn elsewhere. I love ARP but this is a terrible product. I would have never thought of ARP if it was the first kit I got from them. The studs are all round capped and the threads are VERY tight (new AFR heads and my stainless steel studs screw on well) so you can't thread them properly into say 3 threads without using something like a vise gripping the screws could damage rivets. and look terrible. Now if you have an air intake bolt stuck, say the rear one, there is NO WAY you can get at it without removing EVERYTHING on the bottom air intake. Even then it's very difficult and there's a chance of ruining the bolt as the vise will scrape it as you turn it (think round caps, not hexagons or other styles you can "grab" with a tool ), which can lead to even more expensive repairs. ALL my other ARP screws I have are amazing and worth it. I have no idea what ARP was thinking here other than "blind". )
