Quick, easy alternative to laces!
The laces fit perfectly on my new walking shoes. To more easily attach the top piece that covers the shoe lace ends, place the trimmed shoe lace ends over a lit match, about 3 to 4 inches above the flame, for a second to melt the frayed ends. Just a second will do! Be careful! This will leave a nice, smooth end to the laces. They will fill well into the end piece if you do this. Obviously, the laces must be all polyester/synthetic fabric.
- Allows for more freedom of movement in the foot
- May not be as effective for individuals with sweaty or slippery feet
