Reading other reviews I was initially concerned that they would be too thin to look good. But I needed them urgently, so I ordered them. The thickness is just great. We used them as a craft to paint on fabric with sleepover markers. You were perfect. They're not really thick, but they're not particularly thin either, and the pillowcase sticks to the marker with ease. Everything looked fine after that, it didn't look like the marker was too heavy for the pillowcase. Any pillowcase marker will require you to put some cardboard or something else between the layers to keep it from getting on the pillowcase. the other side of the pillowcase, but that is the case no matter how thick the pillowcase is. Overall a great pillowcase to decorate with fabric markers for sleepovers. After the party, my kids use this pillowcase every day and they find it comfortable and soft.
