As written in other reviews, no instructions. However, this is a BIG mod. Additional notes on top of Dave's comments and instructions: Remove trim. Drill out the useless red band with a 1/4" bit. Drill out the rivet. Drill the bottom hole to match the bushing. A 5/16" drill bit is required to drill the bottom hole on the front bracket .Then the collar will really fit and hold tight.Install the long spacer that connects the lever to the door opener.Make sure you install the long spacer.Part THROUGH the drilled part.Secure with a screw.Remove remove the bolt from the metal frame and install the lever. Using the photos from Dave's review, cut out the plastic part with a dremel tool. It shows it very well. You will need Locktite on the bottom knob nut. Overtightening will not work effective. It needs to be backed off about 1/8 turn with locktite to keep it in place.Much better than that strap!
