Great for what I wanted.
I bought them on a whim while driving to Seattle. I liked the colors advertised and thought they would be great for lotions etc. I've never used them for liquids or lotions so I have no idea how narrow they are. That's why I skipped this review. I used them to store small plastic hair ties and other small hard objects. They worked great! I could open and close them with one hand and they helped more than I expected. The colors were also as advertised. I really like the feeling of softness.
