Just bought and received immediately with a broken clip on the body (but I could live with that.) But when I started removing ball joints on my 99 Jeep, I noticed that material was bulging from the threads in the C-clamp and showing up on the threads of the bolt. The condition deteriorated with use (I pre-soaked the old ball joints with penetrating oil but it took a lot of strength to push them out). When installing, the previous hum weakened the threads so much that they just fell off. Makes the tool unusable. The main screw thread appears to be straight and is not recommended by Acme for this application.
