I initially really liked the style and fit

After reading the reviews I took a chance and bought this shoe. Initially I really liked the style and fit. As I started racking up more miles, I noticed a few design flaws. 1) The front strap that runs at the base of the fingers is very restrictive and does not allow the fingers to be fully stretched. I have wide feet and used the size chart provided by the company. The longer I wear these shoes, the more cramped my foot. I tried adjusting the strap tension to solve the problem and found that the looser the front strap, the more likely the front of the shoe would snag the ground when walking. 2) I've used this shoe on all types of surfaces, concrete, gravel, dirt roads, and yet after an hour I can feel a tingling sensation in the heel where it meets the rubber sole. I don't know if anyone had this problem? Once again I tried adjusting the ankle strap to varying degrees of tightness or looseness and found no relief. Eventually I built up calluses and pinching is no longer a problem, but that's beside the point. Overall, I really liked the functionality of this product. They walk well, dry quickly when wet and allow maximum surface area of the foot to touch the ground. If I could figure out how to solve the two problems mentioned, this would be the perfect barefoot shoe.
