I wanted a camera that would take great pictures in low light without a flash. I'm a historian and I spend a lot of time in libraries, museums, etc. At the time, this camera was considered the best for this type of photography. I have some great pictures and can play around with photo editors to enhance the text. One problem is that the paper of older documents does not have a consistent color tone. The repositories don't allow flash, so the ability to work in low light is important. This camera is so good that I can take microfilm pictures by projecting them onto a table and get better pictures than making copies of the microfilm on a printer. I can't say anything about the quality of the images on the machine. They are beautiful, even with my amateur quality skills. But since I've used them more often, I'm less satisfied with them. He takes amazing pictures. I bought a remote shutter and a tripod and took beautiful shots of Niagara Falls day and night. I took it to baseball games and got some great shots. But. The screen is really hard to read in the sun. And it cannot be tethered to a laptop or tablet. I wanted to transfer the screen to a tablet so I could read it. And I wanted to connect to the library so I can see right away if the picture is good. Lightroom does not support Panasonic cameras. I called Panasonic and it is not tethered to the computer which I think is a big problem. It wasn't what I wanted when I bought it and I never considered it a factor. this function. I've gotten to the point where I have to make a choice between buying another manufacturer or switching to another Panasonic, but according to tech support from India, neither is tied. On the one hand, I only have one lens, so buying a new one isn't cheap at the moment, but it's not as bad as if I had 10 lenses and had to sell them. Those are lenses. People stick with whatever they bought first because of the lenses. I also have to say that Panasonic's customer service is not the best. I had a problem when I first bought it and it was a web of calls to find someone in Texas who had English as their first language. And the support I got when I called with a question about a binding, for example, wasn't exactly inspiring. If they don't care if I'm a customer, I don't care if I stay with Panasonic. When Dave from India told me he was not connected the answer was no and nothing more. No tips, advice etc. I asked if other Panasonic cameras were connected but he didn't know. I was called into the queue for him to attend to so he could move on to the next customer, not the customer with the problem to be solved, so I stayed as a customer. Companies that fail to create customer loyalty rarely have them. The screen, like all screens, is small and cannot be seen in bright sunlight. I tried to play and experiment with the effects but I couldn't see the screen. The ability to tether to a tablet would be great. And since I've been working, I think being connected to a computer is important. I think these features will be important for all users when using the camera. So I recommend not buying it and looking for something that offers a snap. The photos are fantastic. The automatic settings give great results and I've learned to play with them and use the settings myself. But I think the modem is really important and I would like someone to recommend this feature. Another feature of the binding is that you can play and instantly see the results and know what's working and what's not. shutter speed, etc. You can see the results immediately. I want to be a better photographer and this camera doesn't improve my personal skills. it offers AMAZING images on automatic settings. Fiction. But that doesn't motivate you to keep going.
