I bought this for my husband's Toyota Avalon, an old car with leaking seals around some of the windows and I thought a cover would be a big help in keeping the interior dry. Everything seemed to be working fine for the first month of June/early July, but in August we had daily showers and the coating was not protecting against water. The hood, windshield, top and trunk surface were wet when we removed the lid to start the car. Not happy with it as the extra humidity contributed to the growth of mildew smell in the car interior.
