Tore into pieces in just three months.

This thing sucks. It lasted about 3 months and one night, with a not very strong wind, it broke in the middle. Maybe if you want to keep the car covered in the garage so it's never touched and the wind blows, that would be fine. It's a very light weight, I had high hopes for it. I bought this thing for my convertible, mainly to keep the neighborhood cats from sleeping on the roof of the convertible and leaving fur everywhere. I think I'll use a tarp again!

The cover is not waterproof

I bought this for my husband's Toyota Avalon, an old car with leaking seals around some of the windows and I thought a cover would be a big help in keeping the interior dry. Everything seemed to be working fine for the first month of June/early July, but in August we had daily showers and the coating was not protecting against water. The hood, windshield, top and trunk surface were wet when we removed the lid to start the car. Not happy with it as the extra humidity contributed to the growth of

Updated Review is Terrible

It just fell apart, I live in Southern California Los Angeles, we have had NO storms in the last 4 months just HOT sun and this cover just fell apart. Maybe we had a little wind, not even the Santa Ana season wind, just a calm spring wind, a wind that wouldn't hold the flag, a wind that would disappoint a kite-flying kid, and this cover wouldn't hold? Do not buy this case if you are not going to use it in the garage. Fits my Pontiac Lemans 67, it's too shiny but it's ok, comes with a decent set

Not a serious case. It is an excellent sail for a kite or spinnaker.

I bought this case myself to blame, I didn't read "a layer" in the description. I use it outside to cover a half crappy looking Miata race car and it will cover the car. That's all. My confidence in any "protection" against anything other than bird dudu is not very high. In fact, I think the constant banging on the paint and rear vinyl glass will probably do more damage than no cover. Just take a look. By the way, the medium is too big for the Miata. I would say don't buy this cover if you…

It's like a thin fabric on a machine that doesn't hold up and tears easily.

Despite the metal braided cord (with lock) the case does NOT hold up very well even in moderate winds (Phoenix is not known for its high wind speeds). It has to be constantly put back on our Mazda, which does not allow us to buy a car cover. The case is also very thin and thin. The fact that it tears easily is also an undesirable "property" of the product. Update: We bought it on June 12th. What started as tears turned into full tears in less than two months. Enjoy your cover photo before we…

Not everything so good!

Update: On May 4, the cover was installed and removed several times for various reasons, but most remained intact. It began to fall apart and eventually completely detached from the car on a windy day. So if you want to buy this, you can't use it outdoors. This lasted less than 4 months. Car as it has been blown away 3 or 4 times already and the old lady across the street who smells like urine rings my doorbell every time she gets out which is smelly and annoying! Haha! Everything works well…

Nice case but could be better

Good case for my 2016 Audi A3. The car is not hot, when I remove the cover the car looks clean. I'm not a big person. It was a bit difficult to put the case on, but I figured out a way to make it easier on myself. If you don't attach a lock to support the lid, it will come off when it's windy. The opacity is light. The fabric could be a bit more durable and thicker in my opinion. It rained recently, it was very windy and debris fell on the lid and now I have two defects on the lid. I am very…
