The only thing missing from this keyboard is the backlight. It doesn't bother me much. I tend to slip a bit on the keys when typing, they are a bit slippery, I hope this goes away as the keys are used more. The keyboard does not come with any instructions. Case, keyboard and charging cable only. It doesn't take long to charge the keyboard. Very easy and quick to set up a keyboard for my iPad. I have used other keyboards with my iPad in the past and this is my favorite. It's even cheaper than some of my other keyboards! I like that the keyboard is detachable. So I can leave my iPad in the case when I just want to browse and not type. The keyboard is magnetic and simply attaches to the case. The case holds my iPad very securely and I like that it's made of soft plastic. which connects it and it has a lip over the face of the iPad. It took me a while to figure out how to copy/paste. I love Apple devices but I don't have a Mac. Some of my other keyboards use the CMD key to copy/paste, this confuses me. With this keyboard, all I have to do is set it up for iOS. I use the Fn key and press E. Then I can use the F3 key to copy, the F4 key to paste and the F5 key to cut etc. The case wake/sleep function only works when the case is used without a keyboard. The iPad does not sleep when the case is closed around the keyboard and iPad together. I can easily sit with my iPad on my lap and type on this keyboard. If I had to change anything about this case, it would be to add a strap somehow to just hold the iPad with the case wrapped around the back.
