EXPLODING ADAPTER = DO NOT BUY! There are so many other options, I recommend you use an adapter other than this one. The adapter I bought for our family trip to Europe exploded when I plugged it into an outlet at our first hotel. I thought it might be a problem with the outlet, so I tried a second outlet and it exploded again. I had to buy another adapter in London, which was easy enough. I emailed photos of the black charred adapter to the company expecting an immediate apology and refund - no apology or refund. Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever experienced and the product exploded - so overall I recommend you AVOID.
