This product dries out my hair! I have pretty hard water (I live in LA) and I used it hoping it would help my tresses refresh and remove product/mineral buildup without stripping them. I use a lot of heavy creams and oils on my curls. Well, it did exactly what it was designed to do, but along with the buildup, it also sucked up all the moisture. Even after the deep conditioning, my hair was still pretty coarse. I bought 2 packs because I have very thick thick long hair. I really only needed one. And applied once after shampooing. The water made it nice and foamy and it spread quite easily. If anything, I might have been a little rough with it, which would explain the super cleansing effects. I would use this treatment sparingly if you REALLY need to erase and reset. Then the deep state. In the meantime, do yourself a favor and get yourself a shower water filter.
