Want to try corset-wearing? Start here

If you're wanting to try out corset-wearing and see if it's for you, this is the place to start. It accomplishes the goal of a waist trainer while not instantly making you $30+ poorer. When correctly adjusted, it made my mama belly flat without making everything just squish out of the bottom of it, and it does give an hour glass figure- maybe not to the extent I'd prefer, but I assume that's due to my own physical limitations. The downsides; as a result of the comparably low price, the quality suffers somewhat, and the clasps were not all lined up correctly, making latching it for the first time a thirty minute affair. I would also recommend going a size or even two above what the size chart recommends, as I have a 33 inch waist, got the XXL (32-33 in.), and my corset has to be as loose as possible with the laces hardly reaching each other to be tied. I would also suggest making sure you have a friend willing to help you adjust everything at least for the first time putting it on, as I know I would have been completely incapable of the feat on my own.Tl;dr, extremely decent for the price point, can be difficult to securely clasp, go a size or two above what is recommended.

Pros
  • Looks sexy good price fits properly
Cons
  • The satin material may not be breathable, causing discomfort or sweatiness
