This is a beautiful wine key that looks good and feels good in your hand. It's a good weight and feels durable and stylish. Pros: It's great for pulling plugs. The spring-loaded dual hinge has a very nice feel and responsiveness, and it fits every bottle I've tried it on - it's a sort of counterfeit Coutale's corkscrew. I like black metal a lot. It is stylish and suitable for any service environment. It looks a little stylish and a little quirky at the same time like I could use it for all but the best of meals as well as in a pub. The auger (I don't think it's teflon coated or anything special) is a good length and cuts smoothly through most jams. The Bad: If you're a professional bartender or waiter, it has a few issues that most people won't mind. . The knife is difficult to use. It's sharp and reasonably usable, but looks a little weird to me and means I usually have to use an extra hand (I don't like that). The biggest drawback is the bottle opener. I think they sacrificed functionality for style here. The little tiny bottle opener is a little tricky catching about half of the bottles I open. This makes it quite difficult to open bottles with one hand at the bar without seeing what you're doing because you have to "just string" things together, which I've never had to do with a bottle opener, even that one smallest one. A little bit more. Overall I like this wine key. It will survive several months of desk and bar use and is cheaper than many lower quality products. I recommend it to waiters or bartenders who serve more wine than beer (due to a broken bottle opener) if they value a stylish corkscrew and a relatively ergonomic corkscrew.
