We tried three backpacks before deciding on this one. My husband travels quite a bit, so he opted for a business backpack instead of a messenger bag (which ended up taking its toll on his shoulder). It has top and side handles and shoulder straps to make it as functional as possible. The zippers are large, durable and slide smoothly. There are several pockets for storing small items.
