This is nothing more that a silicone mat with turned up edges. I thought there might be something to go over the edges of the pee pad. I must not have read correctly. The pad lacks fitting to the edge my just a bit. If the dog happens to pee at the edge and not the center, the pee gets between the pad and the mat and then you have to rinse the mat off. Then, you end up with a wet mat that you either have to dry off or let air dry before putting it back down. Not exactly what I expected. Wish I had not thrown out the packaging and sent it back and go one that the pad actually fit under the edges of the mat.
