Real gold - flame test passed and melted
I decorate cupcakes and cakes and always make sure what I get is actually edible. With this gold leaf, I wanted to make sure it was clean, so I did a flame test. Fake gold leaf turns to ash and real gold melts. I am pleased to report that these plates have melted. It's kind of a waste of a leaf, but at least I'm sure what I'm feeding my friends and family won't make them sick. , 10 sheets of gold foil for cupcakes, candies, chocolates and skin care products.
