Pretty ring but not the color that is pictured

This ring is very pretty and very sparkly, and it is a great price to be sure. I bought this for someone that likes black and purple, so amethyst was a strong selling point. However, the amethysts are pink, not purple. It is very light and does not stick out too far, so I could see it being great for one of my daughters, but not for my partner. She is not a fan of pink, so I am returning it.
