Works great with the dcs575 FlexVolt saw. The adapter has a hole for a dust collector so the chute will work without the dust collection suction hose installed. When using a hose I like to tape off the opening of the gutter if I'm not using a powerful vacuum and the dust extraction works even better. It would be nice if there was a lid that could be opened and closed. I usually use a Dewalt cordless vacuum and then I tape up the hole. It is easy to install on the saw, although the drawing in the manual shows the installation tab and the illustration is inaccurate, but it is easy to understand. Look at the opening of the saw and look inside the plastic parts that fit the saw and that will explain everything. There are 2 plastic screws (ph2) holding the 2 parts of the adapter together. One of the set screws is only accessible from the battery connector side and is best accessed with an angle drive or ¼-inch ratchet, but I was able to adjust mine well enough with a regular screwdriver handle by screwing the bit in at one angle . into the thread notch and additional pressure into the thread notch. The part is made from ABS plastic and seems strong enough, but can be cold welded with acetone if it ever breaks. It comes with an extra lower guard lever that needs to be placed on the ground Guard Work with the adapter as the adapter sticks out on the side far enough to get in the way of the stock guard lever. adapter. and easy to change with a t-25 or a flat head screwdriver. the protective arms are made of stamped steel, but hardened and very rigid. i tried to slightly change the angle of the included adapter with pliers but no luck.
