Worked for a year, almost caught fire

We loved this product. I can’t seem to get ahold of anyone be on the chat to get the issue fixed. Yesterday i made a smoothie and noticed it smelling. Didn’t pay any attention to it. Today it smelled worse after making a smoothing. The plastic around the blender part is completely burnt and starting to melt. The metal was smoking and hot to the touch. It’s right around a year old.I’ll come back and update if the issue gets resolved with Ninja.
