I bought these spoons because I don't like small teaspoons and I like bigger spoons, sometimes called tablespoons. This spoon was uncomfortable to eat. The handle is really thick and so wide that it doesn't fit comfortably in the mouth. I could get in if I open wide. I measured and it holds about exactly 1 tablespoon of water, so I think it's the wrong shape. Instead of being oval, it's wider at the back. I think it's deeper than a typical tablespoon, too. However, I agree with some reviewers that these scoops make a good ice cream scoop as they are very durable. I think we'll find a use for spoons, just not as everyday tablespoons. They are too small for serving spoons. Nobody wants to hand out food by the tablespoon.
