I bought several of these to put in my old laptops, the difference is gigantic; Windows and programs load much faster. Went with 128GB but would recommend at least 256GB (or more depending on your budget). The only reason I wouldn't give five stars is because I've spent time looking for [free] disk cloning/transferring software - most 'free' software available (EaseUS, MacriumReflect, Acronis ) disable the cloning feature unless you pay more than you paid to activate the drive. my disks were MBR and others were GPT! In the end, I used "AOMEI Backupper Standard" for MBR disk and "DiskGenius" for GPT. I usually use Sandisk but when I bought them they were very good value for money. If the price difference when buying is small, consider Sandisk as it comes with free cloning software (from Acronis) as well as a utility. Message to Lexar: You would probably sell more if you charged a dollar more and provided the software! Happy with my purchase so far and would recommend to buyers who are a bit tech savvy and able to troubleshoot.
