Great shells. They're straight forward, big, heat up well in the microwave and don't get very hot when there's hot food inside. The only real kick will be the texture on the inside of the bowl, which can hold small pieces of dried food. or sauce if you're not careful. The texture of the shell reminds me of a texture often used for drywall (lots of small gaps). We rinse the bowls right away so we didn't have too many problems, but I could see if there was a problem if you left something like macaroni and cheese in there and left it in the sink overnight. Everything arrived safe and sound in beautiful packaging. . there are no complaints! Spoons and chopsticks were a nice bonus.
