This review is for the SILENTCARE Men's Winter Waterproof Snow Boots.I ordered these in a size 10 US regular width and received a size 10 US regular width.With regular athletic socks the size fit perfectly snug not tight. There was room in the toe box and my toes did not feel cramped. I did not try with thicker boot socks but I'm sure that it would fit without issue, at least with my foot.Initial build quality is good and is up to expectation. The outer shell seems to be a slightly padded nylon or nylon like material and is waterproof. The outer sole is a thick rubber with decent treading. The inner lining seems to be a fleece-like material and is soft and kept my feet insulated from the cold. The side zipper makes it easy to put on and take off. The boot goes up to mid-calf length so you have a about a foot of clearance when treading through thick snow or water.The only issue I have but did not take a star for, is when there is ice, the boot will slip. Under icey conditions, even with thick rubber treaded soles, you will slide. This issue is not specific to these boots. My advice if you have to walk on ice, is to put on boot/shoe spikes.I wore these boots in about 20 degree fahrenheit temperature, shoveling through snow (about 3-4 inches) and slush. These boots felt comfortable and insulated. My socks and feet were completely dry when going through snow, slush, and water. The insulation felt adequate for the 20 degree temperature, however I do not think they are adequate for negative temperatures or "extreme" conditions for extended periods of time. For light duty tasks or walking in the snow, mud, or rain these SILENTCARE Boots are completely capable and highly recommended.In summary, I'd definitely recommend a set of these SILENTCARE Men's Winter Waterproof Snow Boots for regular activities around the neighborhood.They perform as described. I found no issues with the build quality. The price seems to be at a fair value for what you get. If you find it on sale these would be a great deal if you live in a cold weather area.
