Installation was easy and straightforward. The keyboard, outer handle, remote control, and locking mechanism all feel solid and work well. I actually prefer the feel and adjustment of the step-in lever over the factory lever. My only complaint is with the interior, the battery compartment takes up space that would normally serve as a handle to close the door. This is handy for accessing the batteries if they run low, but given the flexibility of the polymer used and the very flat edge to grip, this makes closing and locking the door difficult from the inside. It would be nice if the protrusion on the battery compartment was just a quarter to a half inch lower and the back plate had metal reinforcement. Overall I think it's a good lock and I'll accept a few complaints about the convenience of the keypad and remote. Also for those who can't find any information online: If you press and hold the '1' key until you hear a long beep, you can turn off the lock/unlock and keypad tones. I prefer this so as not to alert everyone around me to my comings and goings.
