Works perfectly. fits RV parts and accessories

The lock is easy to install and works great. It should be noted that the remote control and keyboard only work with a latch. The handle lock can only be locked/unlocked with the internal handle or the external key. Love the lock and don't regret the purchase, just thought the remote would work with two sets of buttons as it works with either lock.

Not so strong feeling

Works well. The inside handle could have been a bit sturdier, but still works well. I had to use a file and reposition the door panel to accommodate this handle as my door would not latch once installed. ? It didn't make me too happy. The knobs on the handle feel very thin. I expect they'll soon fail or get a hole if you key in numbers and poke too hard with your fingernail. It was very easy to program and bluetooth remote control. I would happily order the best one on the rvlock website…

The case is plastic, not metal

In general, everything is fine. It seems to work well, but there are a few caveats: the body (two halves bolted together on each side of the door) of my factory lock was metal, and fine threaded bolts held the two halves together. Given that this is billed as an upgrade, I wasn't expecting the two halves to be plastic with simple screws holding them together by screwing into a plastic mold on the outer half. Easy to install and very comfortable with one small issue

Installation was easy and straightforward. The keyboard, outer handle, remote control, and locking mechanism all feel solid and work well. I actually prefer the feel and adjustment of the step-in lever over the factory lever. My only complaint is with the interior, the battery compartment takes up space that would normally serve as a handle to close the door. This is handy for accessing the batteries if they run low, but given the flexibility of the polymer used and the very flat edge to grip…

As a new owner of a 2020 Grand Design Imagine 2020RL caravan, I've learned that many front door and cargo area locks use keys that work with more than just your trailer.
