Docking gear looks good. It fits much better than I expected and the magnet is very strong. The finish is acceptable for something that is often removed. A little polishing will most likely make the chrome finish look like a mirror. Aside from the shipping issue detailed below, my biggest issue is that the magnet is not fixed in the lid. This way the magnets stay on the bike every time the cover is removed. I know it's a minor issue, but a drop of epoxy would have prevented it. Another Problem. I ordered 2 sets and received 1 pair of docking caps and 1 set of seat bolts. The seat bolt kit is good but not what I ordered. The package was marked as Docking Equipment Cover Kit. It would be nice to get what I ordered. If so, maybe I'm not that critical of the magnets coming out of the cases. I'll probably add some epoxy and felt to correct them. Update 8/24 I decided to keep the seat screw so I ordered a few more docking gear covers. One of them has a broken magnet. So I have now ordered 3 sets and only one set. Don't waste your time. It looks like they came straight from China with no verification. they are garbage. I will return two sets of covers and only pay $70 for real Harleys. They may still be from China but I'm sure they won't be broken right out of the box.
